Does the cellulite patch work?

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

There is a mixed response on the efficiency of cellulite patches. Cellulite is a lumpy fatty layer underneath your skin (subcutaneous layer). Cellulite is associated with a collagen layer of connective tissue.

When people get affected by cellulites, the collagen layer becomes discontinuous leading to the appearance of orange-peel.

Cellulite patches have been introduced by many cosmetic companies to get rid of the cellulite (cottage-cheese thighs). Caffeine present in coffee is used to break down fat cells and serves as a chemical liposuction.

Its major use is to enable better flow of blood and acts as a vasodilator. Though caffeine is used in burning and breaking fat cells, there is a doubt if caffeine rich cellulite patches work well.

There are mixed responses once again. Bladderwrack and Rhodysterol are used as one of the ingredients in cellulite patches.

They are derived from red algae. Metabolism rate is hastened and fats cells are easily burnt up.

Red algae cellulite patches are found to produce good results. Though the cellulites don’t completely vanish, the usage of this patch is known to produce good improvement.

Skin tone development is another feature of this product. Cellulite can be reduced by using collagenese in a particular area. Collagenese is enzymes that put down the connections in the layers of collagen.

Collagenese is induced by injections.70% of the cellulites are reduced by this collagenese as per research. Caffeine, collagenese patches and red algae patches don’t remove the cellulites completely they reduce the occurrence.

People having initial stages of cellulites don’t find many differences of the above ways compared to the extreme cases.
